Marilyn helped me work through some techno issues on new laptop.  Hopefully I can be a little better at posting crafty things I have made. 
Below are a few of the tags we have made over the past few months.  I am blessed to have such a special store to teach tag and album classes.  The ladies that attend the classes are incredibly talented.  I always leave with new ideas I have learned from them. 
Here are my tags....

Santa gathering his reindeer at the North Pole!  I LOVE anything reindeer!!!

 This angel tag is in honor of my dear friend Patrice!  She always has ideas for me!  Love that special lady!  I also think my partner in crime loves the tinsel on this tag....right Cat?

This is a layered retro look!  Love the vintage feel!  The ornaments and colors came together
beautifully!!!

Love the Three Wise Men tag especially with the hymnal page stamped with the angel.  Good stuff!

Here's a tag that I made using a photo off pinterest.  I changed it just a bit to give it my own touch but I do give credit to its creator.  Beautiful idea!

Happy Fall Y'all

It's been a beautiful weekend!  My running friends and I ran at Clark Gardens annual Half Marathon &5K.  It is such a wonderful, beautiful place.  The staff go to great lengths to allow runners to run through the beautiful scenic gardens.  I had a PR in the 5K which made me so happy after battling odd injuries for a few months!  I can't decide what drives me to run but I think it has a lot to do with the challenge and battle within yourself plus the great sense of accomplishment when it's all over!  It also provides me when mental thinking time to create and come up with ideas for artsy side!...tags, pages, altered art and creations in general!
Tag classes have been awesome!  The sweet attendees do an awesome job creating from the basic tag!  I love their willingness to share not only ideas but also their stash of goods when we get in a bind or are lacking materials.  Thank y'all for making the sharing journey so special!
I am excited that we are heading into such marvelous days of holiday sharing!  So I am posting a few pics of tags we've made and/or going to make!
One more thing before I forget...to those of you that posted on this blog...thank you for your kind words!  I did not realize y'all had posted so apologies to each of you for not responding!  I am going to try to get better at this blog thing!  Marilyn....I need you!  :-)

Thank you Marilyn Nimmo for inspiring...pushing...encouraging me to start a blog!  I am sure it won't consist of the quality and care your blog has but I will surely try to be a blogger

Here are a few projects I have created for classes at Cat's Creations Scrapbook Store in Mineral Wells, Texas.  It's a great place for all things creative!

Flamingo tag I made for the instructors at NSD 2013.  My tag class ladies saw them and wanted to make a tag using the flamingo stamp!  

Here is my Travel Album in the beginning stages created for a class at NSD.  My class is May 2...kicking off a four day Flamingo Frenzy of Creativity!  Looking forward to that creative, fun, friend filled time.
